Leather Christmas wreaths

Create Christmas wreaths for a unique decoration detail. Customise leather leaves to add a unique and personal touch to your Christmas decorations. Follow our simple steps for this creative and festive project.

You will need:
- Setacolor leather colours matcha
green, cactus
green, intense
red, deep
red, metallic gold
- Setacolor leather markers in black, sage
green and deep
red.
- Setacolor leather glue
- Setacolor
satin matt patent leather
- Setacolor
leather degreasing primer
- round brushes.
- Leather fabric (colours of your
choice)
- Sheet templates (available online or
designed)
- Scissors
- A metal or plastic ring for the base
of the wreath.
Difficulty level
- Drying time: 3 hours
- Time to make: 2 hours
- Difficulty: medium - age 7 and up with the help of an adult
Step 1: Preparation of the Materials
- Choose the leather fabric colours you
wish to use.
- Download or draw a sheet template to
use as a guide
Step 2: Cutting and assembling the leather sheets
- Place the sheet templates on the
leather fabric and tape them in place.
- Carefully cut out the shapes
following the contours of the template.
- Arrange the coloured leather sheets
harmoniously.
- Glue the leather to the base of the
wreath using setacolor leather glue.
Step 3: Colouring and customising the leather
- Use setacolor leather markers
in black, sage
green and deep
red and setacolor leather fabric
paint in matcha
green, cactus
green, intense
red, deep
red and metallic gold to colour in the leather to your preference.
- Leave to dry completely.
Step 4: Hanging
- Attach a ribbon to the wreath
so you can hang it up.
