Pébéo attaches the utmost importance to the quality of its products, as well as to all regulatory aspects applicable to them (composition, labeling, markings, etc.).
Pebeo is very active in the various standardization bodies, which means it is always in close contact with the regulatory aspects of toy safety.
The main regulatory markings are described below. They are applicable according to the type of product and the country where it is distributed.
METROLOGICAL SIGN: This sign is found on pre-packaged products (i.e. products presented in a package). It signifies that the prepackager or importer certifies the volume or quantity of the prepackaged product he is marketing.
The green dot logo on household product packaging. In France, it means that the producer of the product contributes to the packaging recovery scheme.
Diffuse and Specific Waste (DDS)
In France, this logo indicates that certain chemical product waste (containers and contents) which may present a significant risk to health and the environment must be disposed of in a specific way, and must not be mixed with household waste.
Waste - TRIMAN
In France, this logo appears on all recyclable products (cardboard, glass, metal, etc.).

Mandatory on toys intended for children under 14. It means that the toy complies with the requirements of the European Toy Safety Directive, including EN71 toy standards.

Age warning
This symbol replaces the phrase "Not suitable for children under three years of age". It is accompanied by the hazard (e.g. presence of small parts) and the associated risk (e.g. choking hazard).

This embossed triangle lets blind people know they're using a dangerous product. The triangle is transparent.
Products that present a serious risk of intoxication if accidentally swallowed are fitted with a safety closure. The cap can only be opened by unscrewing it and pressing hard. All hazardous products must be kept out of the reach of children.
In the USA, the AP (approved product) pictogram indicates that the product is non-hazardous for both children and adults. In the USA, the CL (caution labeling) pictogram indicates that the product presents certain hazards and that the label must be completed with certain phrases (flammable, harmful, etc.).
In Denmark, indicates that a toy may be used by children over 3 years of age.
